| Skins: All
you have to do, is go to your half-life directory, which is usually like
X:\sierra\half-life\ (with X being your hard drive). Open you cstrike folder.
If you see a folder marked models, open it. If you dont make one! Then,
make a new folder called player. Then, make a folder for which ever kind
of skin you downloaded, like for instance, the gsg9 skins.
Make a folder called gsg9, then place
the skin you downloaded in to that folder. If it is not named with the
corresponding folder name, like this one being gsg9.mdl, then reaname it.
Always make sure the name ends in .mdl, or the game wont recognize it.
Maps:
LIke i said above, go to your cstrike folder in your half-life directory.
Open it up, and there should be a folder named maps. just place you map
(always should be in .bsp form) in that folder and your ready to go.
Crosshairs: As with the 2 above sections, go to your cstrike directory, make a new folder called sprites. If there is already a folder there, or after you made the new one, place the crosshair file you downloaded into that folder. It should always be in .spr format. If it isnt, then I cant really help you as I have 0 expierience in the crosshairs department. |
